About this programme

How it works

What you'll learn, how you'll learn it, and where it leads.

This is our flagship track for people who want to build software for a living. Over nine months you move from writing your first lines of JavaScript to deploying full-stack applications with authentication, databases, payments and CI/CD — the complete skill set Nigerian product teams actually interview for. The stack (TypeScript, React, Node.js, PostgreSQL) is deliberately mainstream: it dominates local job adverts, global remote roles and the open-source ecosystem you will rely on professionally.

The programme is project-driven from week one. Every module ends in something deployed: a personal site, an interactive frontend, a REST API with real data, a containerised service behind automated deployments. By mid-programme you are working in small agile teams on briefs modelled on real client work — standups, code review, sprint planning — because those collaboration habits are what separate employees from tutorial-followers in employers' eyes.

The final third is your capstone: a substantial client-style project scoped, built, tested and presented to a panel of working engineers. Past capstones have included logistics tracking dashboards, school management systems and fintech payment flows. You leave with six deployed projects, a polished portfolio, interview preparation, and access to CEA's employer network through the Career Engine.
