Networking & IT Support

Every office, school, hospital, bank branch and hotel in Nigeria runs on networks that break — and someone gets paid to fix them. Networking and IT support remains the fastest route from zero to employed in tech: entry requirements are lower than software roles, demand exists in every city, and the skills compound into cybersecurity, cloud and systems administration careers. This six-month on-campus track teaches the physical, hands-on craft that online-only courses cannot.

You work with real equipment from week one: disassembling and assembling machines, crimping and testing cables, configuring routers and switches in our lab racks. The curriculum follows the working technician's world — hardware repair and operating systems, networking fundamentals (IP addressing, subnetting, protocols), routing and switching configuration with Cisco IOS and MikroTik gear, then enterprise support practices: ticketing systems, Active Directory, user management, documentation and the communication skills that separate tolerated IT staff from valued ones.

The final module is a field practicum: supervised placements supporting real organisations' IT environments, because the difference between lab competence and workplace confidence is real users with real deadlines. Alongside practical skills you prepare for CompTIA A+ and CCNA certification objectives — the credentials Nigerian employers still ask for in infrastructure roles. Graduates step into IT support officer, network technician, NOC analyst and systems administrator roles, or continue into our Cybersecurity Analyst track with a strong foundation.
